Today, it's faster to weaponize biology than to advance new cures. Leaders in AI have identified this as one of the largest threats of our time. Our future hangs in the balance.

In this new era, heroes at the frontlines are racing to prevent biological threats that could end humanity. But the tools they rely on to detect and mitigate threats can't keep pace with the proliferation of biotechnology, leaving them outmatched.

Valthos equips experts in government and life sciences with powerful tools that can, for the first time, update medical countermeasures to match the speed of the threats we face.

We envision a future where any threat to human health can be immediately identified and neutralized, whether the origin is external or within our own bodies. We build AI systems to rapidly characterize biological sequences and update medicines in real time. This strengthens biodefense today and lays the groundwork for the adaptive, precision therapeutics of tomorrow.

We raised $30 million from the OpenAI Startup Fund, Lux Capital, and Founders Fund to scale this infrastructure for government and life sciences stakeholders. Rising to this challenge requires a dedicated team at the intersection of distributed systems, ML method development, and biotechnology. Our founding team comes from Palantir, DeepMind, the Broad Institute, and the Arc Institute, and we're hiring exceptional people to join us in this mission.
